Saving a Dog is written in short, concise sentences for children's reading but it also has some great vocabulary building words. The story is sweet and motivating and enjoyable. The artwork on every other page helps bring the story to life. Vicky Kaseorg is a talented artist and author!

I fell in love with Honey... and her rescuer! This little book is a perfect introduction to animal rescue for children. It will inspire them and promote kindness and caring.
Lovely drawings and a sweet story about a rescued dog. Geared much more for young children than teens or adults, but it could help anyone appreciate the predicament of an abandoned dog and the mutual devotion of the dog and its human.
Same thing happened to me some thirty years ago. It was a little black dog though and she lived with us for fifteen years. She died at home in her own bed, loved dearly and missed. We called her princess.
This is an interesting and easy to read book for children. It helps them understand how important it is to love and care for an animal. The illustrations in the book are outstanding. I'd recommend this to anyone that loves animals or has a child,grandchild, niece or nephew. Vicky is a great writer and I have enjoyed all of her books.

The illustrations are beautiful and full of color, and children will learn how important it is to love a dog and care for one too. Some children may not know that dogs hurt and have feelings too.
