I am sure all the 5 star reviews were written by friends and relatives, but I was curious to see if these jokes were (1) funny and (2) original. The most humorous part was the horrid grammar and use of the English language. I started reading these in my head with a pronounced Russian accent because the way they were written was like a Russian person who spoke disjointed English. Now as far as these being original, that is a joke in itself. I am a very shy introvert with basically no social life and I had even heard many of these jokes before. There was one that I thought was witty (#7 in the husband/wife joke section), other than that I was not impressed. I'm giving this two stars instead of one because I feel that anyone who puts together these jokes took a lot of time getting it together, and that deserved something. If you are considering purchasing this for anything over the price of 0.00, I would suggest looking elsewhere.Product details

However, the author should note

The material itself is not bad, the book has a few jokes I have had not heard before. Unfortunately, the book was not proof read by a native English speaker so it has awkward phrasing, sentences with missing words, and grammar errors which make it a bit hard to read.

There were some great jokes, even a couple I had not heard of. But, please could the author fix the grammar. Almost every joke had missing words, wrong use of words, wrong tense, etc. I hope that is not what we are coming to in publishing books today.
I found this book to be a breath of fresh air. Clean, funny and just what I need to relieve the stress of the day. I like to pick this up and just read a few of the funnies when things seem too dramatic.
Breaks the drama spell super fast! Great stress relief with humor for any one. Heartily recommend.
I enjoyed some of the jokes but the majority were hard to understand because of the clunky phrasing. The grammar suggests that English is not the author's first language. This book could do with a good proofread and edit.

Though the book says these jokes are for everyone, there were a couple I wouldn't tell small children. They were pretty clean for the most part, and I even laughed out loud a few times.
There were a couple jokes I had heard before, so I'm not sure how original they are but maybe more of a compilation of jokes heard, Still it as nice to tickle my funny bone for a few minutes.
This is a very enjoyable collection of jokes that be told in mixed company or just read for your own entertainment. There are lots of joke books available, but they tend to range from the trite or corny to the embarrassing or vulgar. This book offers a great assortment of jokes that are clean or marginally cheeky but suitable for work or family members. Some of the jokes you've heard before or are similar to some you've heard before. For me, the majority of the jokes are either new or refreshing update to jokes. The phrasing is more worldly than typical American in some cases, but you'll have no problem understanding the jokes and the punchlines. This is a handy book to use as a source whenever you need to come up with something funny, regardless of the occasion.
